HomeKeep Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how HomeKeep: Home Maintenance (the "app", package com.gartnerleandro.HomeKeep), provided by LGHDeveloper, collects, uses and protects your information.

Who we are

HomeKeep is developed and operated by LGHDeveloper, the data controller. If you have any question about this policy or your data, contact us at the email address in the Contact section below.

Data we collect

We collect the following data, provided by you or generated by your use of the app:

  • Account data: name, email and a unique user ID (Supabase user ID), obtained when you sign in with Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In.
  • Content you create: your homes and their details, maintenance tasks, task completions, costs, notes, and the documents you attach (such as invoices, warranties and manuals), including files and photos. Photos and camera are only accessed when you choose to attach a document.
  • Family sharing: members of your homes and the invitations you send or accept.
  • Push notification token (Expo push token) of your device, if you enable notifications.
  • Subscription status: your purchase and subscription status, managed through RevenueCat. We never receive your card data; payments are processed by Apple or Google.
  • Product analytics: usage events (for example screens viewed, onboarding steps, paywall and purchase events, tasks completed, documents added) and crash and error reports, collected with PostHog. They are linked only to your Supabase user ID, never to your email or name. Session replay is not used.
  • Device and app data: your device language (locale) and the app version, attached to the analytics events.

If you use the optional calendar export, the tasks are written to your device's calendar. That data stays on your device and is not sent to us.

How we use data

  • To provide the app's features: managing your homes and tasks, and syncing them between the members of a home.
  • To send you reminders and notifications you have enabled.
  • To manage your subscription and unlock the features you have purchased.
  • To improve the app through product analytics, and to diagnose and fix errors.

We do not show advertising, we do not sell your data and we do not track you across apps or websites of other companies.

Sharing and processors

We share your data only with the service providers (processors) needed to run the app:

  • Supabase: database, authentication, file storage and backend functions.
  • RevenueCat: subscription and purchase management.
  • PostHog (EU cloud, eu.i.posthog.com): product analytics and error reports.
  • Expo push service, Apple Push Notification service and Firebase Cloud Messaging: delivery of push notifications.
  • Apple (Sign in with Apple) and Google (Google Sign-In): authentication.

Members of a home you share can see the content of that home, including what other members add to it.

Retention and deletion

  • Your data is kept while your account is active.
  • You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings > Danger zone > Delete account). This deletes your account, the homes you own and everything in them, your stored documents and files, and your subscription record at RevenueCat. See the account deletion page for details.
  • Analytics and error reports are kept according to PostHog's retention settings. They contain no email or name, only the user ID.
  • Purchase records kept by Apple and Google are retained by them under their own policies.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase and port your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw your consent at any time. You can export your maintenance history as a CSV file from the app, and delete your account from Settings. For any other request, write to us at the email address in the Contact section.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).

Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Access is controlled with authentication and row-level security, so each user can access only their own data and the homes they belong to. Authentication tokens are stored on your device in the secure storage of the operating system.

Children

HomeKeep is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where the law of your country requires it), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
