Delete your HomeKeep account

You can delete your account yourself at any time:

1. Open HomeKeep and sign in.
2. Go to the Settings tab.
3. Scroll down to the Danger zone section and tap Delete account.
4. Read the warning and tap Continue.
5. Type DELETE to confirm and confirm the deletion.

When it finishes, the app shows a confirmation and signs you out. The deletion is irreversible.

If you cannot access the app, send an email to lghdeveloper@gmail.com from the email address of your account, with the subject "Delete my HomeKeep account". We may ask you to confirm your identity. We will delete your account and data and confirm it by email.

• Your account and sign-in record (name, email, user ID).
• The homes you own and everything in them: tasks, completions, costs, notes, and invitations.
• The documents, files and photos you stored for your homes.
• Your membership in homes owned by other people.
• Your push notification token and subscription record at RevenueCat.

If you shared a home you own, it is deleted for all its members. Items you added to homes owned by other people remain in those homes, but they are no longer linked to you.

• Purchase and billing records kept by Apple or Google, as required by the stores and by law. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription: cancel it in the App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
• Product analytics and error reports in PostHog. They contain no email or name, only an internal user ID, and are kept according to PostHog's retention settings. You can ask us to delete them by email.

Deleting from the app takes effect immediately. Requests by email are handled within 30 days at most.
